ALBUMS

5000 Fingers (2022)

Mercer and Robin take piano samples and highly pianistic playing styles as their primary material. The sound world of these dueling pianos is extended into microtonality, timbral deconstruction, and physically impossible musical gestures. Romantic, harmonically focused material fluidly coexists with complex timbral-textural exploration. The result is a soundscape at once familiar and alien, where the original sound image of the classical piano is rendered surreal.

BRAD ROBIN RELEASE (2021)

Tumult was recorded in 1998, and finally released. It was one of my first professional improvisations. I have long enjoyed the power, joy and freedom of spontaneous creation.

Story of Moms was recorded in my home during a livestream concert during the pandemic. It represents the various kind of relationships one can have with possibly the most important formative relationship.

SPread for piano (2020)

This Call was open to composers and performers of any age and nationality - that own piano recordings of their works. The works of the winning composers were featured in the new album "Modern Music for Piano 3" produced by RMN Classical specifically to promote new music and new composers and performers.
