Limud (2014) explores relationships between mentor and student as well as referencing historical stylistic tendencies. Over the course of the piece, texture and timbre become paramount as they overpower traditional devices, moving between walls of noise, repetitive pitch structures, and interlocking rhythmic periodicity. Hebrew provides source material for the phonemes upon which the sound for Limud is built. Text borrows from the following Hebrew phrases:
